The
sacramental life of the Church presents several opportunities
for people to experience the gift of God's love, friendship,
and healing. By actively participating in the Sacraments,
we celebrate our relationship with God and offer praise
to him for all the blessings of our lives. Through
the celebration of the sacraments as a community,
we are able to grow in our sense of connection to
others, as well as sense our responsibility to work
toward the common good of all people. As Catholics,
we believe that Jesus Christ invites us to share in
these signs of Grace and that they help lead us to
a truer sense of ourselves as persons and as children
of God. Sacramental opportunities are listed on the
right side of this page and explained further by clicking
on the Reconciliation, Marriage Preparation, and Joining
the Church links on the left side of this page.
Students and university employees may, from time to
time, find themselves in need of assistance in working
out some important issue in their lives. In addition
to sacramental opportunities, the Campus Minister
is also available to offer Spiritual Direction and
short-term Pastoral Counseling. For further information
on these services, please click on the appropriate
link on the left side of this page.
Additionally, the Newman Association, Campus Ministry
office, and cooperative efforts with the colleges
and universities in the Diocese of Erie all offer
opportunities for spiritual retreats. These retreats
range from introductory experiences to formal directed
retreats. Click on the Retreat link to the left to
learn more.
Finally, if you are in need of professional counseling
or any other service, the Campus Ministry office will
do its best to connect you with the appropriate assistance
you seek. Contact the Campus
Minister by email or by phone if you need help
finding other services.
