Catholic Campus Ministry at Clarion
University of Pennsylvania is an office of the Roman
Catholic Diocese of Erie and an extension of the ministry
of the Bishop of the Erie Diocese. In addition to
this primary affiliation, campus ministry is a member
of the Catholic Campus Ministry Association (CCMA),
the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP),
and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education
(CASE). Those acting as agents of this ministry adhere
to the professional and ethical standards of these
organizations.
As
a ministry functioning within a professional context,
we support the personal and theological competencies
required of those who minister in the name of the
church. Additionally, we subscribe to principles which
support ethical dealings with those we serve, and
with alumni, parents of students, donors, foundations,
and anyone who supports this ministry. We seek to
communicate as effectively as possible with everyone
who has a stake in the ministry. We believe in being
responsible in our efforts to raise funds, in the
reporting of financial activity and standing, and
in the management of assets.
